Clover RPG Races

Sources checked

Clover RPG’s documented obtainable races are Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Eldritch, Dryad, Lesser Demon and Lesser Angel. They affect merchant returns, spell resources, physical damage or survival in different ways. Race is assigned when the character is created; a Race Reroll gives another random result rather than a guaranteed selection.

Seven-race perk set described in October 2026 guides. Published chance tables disagree, so no current roll-rate table is asserted here. Contract formulas and reset details remain limited.

What each race changes

Choose around the part of your character that actually limits you. A spell-cost reduction and a damage bonus solve different problems, even when a tier list places their races next to one another.

RaceDocumented perksUseful distinction
HumanEntrepreneur: +15% item sell price.Economy benefit; it is not a direct combat-damage increase.
ElfWorld Tree’s Blessing: spells cost 15% less mana; +20 Energy.Useful when the cost of repeated casts is the problem.
Dark ElfSpellcaster: +5% spell damage; +10% Mana Regen and +10 Energy.A direct offensive caster option; does not establish stronger healing.
EldritchCorrupt Physique: +2.5% physical damage; +10 Health and +2 Max Resolve.Steady physical and defensive bonuses without a hit-stacking condition.
DryadNature’s Grace: a brief health-regeneration increase when wounded; +10 Energy. The healing amount and trigger details are not established here.
Lesser DemonWrath Unbound: +2.5% physical damage per melee hit without being hit, up to 10 stacks; +5% Physical Resistance and +20 Health. Hellsworn affects Devil progression and mode duration.Depends on maintaining the hit condition; no automatic bonus to every spell is inferred.
Lesser AngelDivine Retribution: once per life, lethal damage instead restores 15% health; +10% Magic Resistance and +40 Energy. Heavenbound affects Spirit progression and mode duration.A survival effect with a once-per-life limit, not permanent invulnerability.
What each race changes

Caster, weapon or survival priorities

For a caster, compare the magic kit with the actual resource problem. Elf lowers casting costs; Dark Elf adds spell damage and regeneration. Do not add Elf’s percentage to Wind’s airborne discount and assume an unverified stacking formula.

Lesser Demon has a physical-damage ceiling tied to uninterrupted melee hits. Lesser Angel offers lethal-hit protection. These are different strengths: a defensive race does not prove a faster boss clear, and a damage stack does not guarantee that you can keep it in every fight.

Changing race and checking reset warnings

The documented change item is a Race Reroll. It produces another random origin. Guides list main-menu purchases, in-game purchases or trading, and a reported Gladiator drop, but those routes do not establish a guaranteed farm or a current price.

Check the item’s current price, trade restrictions and character-reset warning before using it. The community sources distinguish a character wipe from a Race Reroll; wiping is not documented as a reliable way to select a new race. This guide does not promise that a reroll preserves your other progress.

The chance tables conflict: some sources list Human at 52% and the two Lesser races at 1% each; other October guides use 50% and 2% each. Without a dated original game record resolving the difference, neither set is presented as the current probability.

Perks and practical limits are paraphrased from the original race comparison and checked against the supplied community records. The exact patch and several contract mechanics remain unspecified.
