Clover RPG weapons are divided into Light, Medium and Heavy classes. Vulcan’s tutorial reward is a single choice among Gauntlets, Novice Blade, Longsword and Rustic Spear. Compare class, reach and speed before committing: the community tutorial warns that changing the chosen class can require wiping the slot. A high damage number alone does not establish a better weapon.
Starter-weapon and class reference using release-era written guides; not a complete drop catalogue or dojo-skill walkthrough. Developer basic controls retain their July 2025 document scope.

Speak to Chief Farris, then visit Vulcan during the Kamo tutorial. Select one reward. The class and style below follow the original beginner guide; they are not invented damage or timing measurements.

| Novice Blade | Medium; balanced style | Choose as the single Vulcan tutorial reward. |
| Longsword | Heavy; slower, higher-damage style | Choose as the single Vulcan tutorial reward. |
| Rustic Spear | Medium; longer-range thrusting style | Choose as the single Vulcan tutorial reward. |
Basic moves and upgrade requirements
With a fighting style equipped, the developer reference lists LMB for a normal attack, R for a critical, and F for block/parry. After LMB, RMB performs a misdirect; while shift locked, jumping and using LMB performs the documented aerial attack. The controls table preserves the exact conditions.
Weapon references compare Damage, Range, Proficiency Scaling, Weight, Speed and Proficiency Requirement, plus sale and crafting information. Treat proficiency as an equip or training requirement, not as proof that a weapon is a stronger upgrade. A raw Speed value should not be relabeled as attacks per second without a verified unit.
The tutorial label Longsword is not automatically an alias for every later longsword in a weapon table. Likewise, the starter Gauntlets reward should not be silently assigned the stats of Dull Gauntlets or Clover Gauntlets.
Keep weapon growth separate from stat allocation
Weapons Expert is documented at level 5 with a one-Skill-Point cost and 50% faster proficiency gain. Its trait requirements differ from the character Stat Points spent in Tab.
Strength increases misdirect damage and physical scaling in the attribute reference. That does not establish a universal best distribution: weapon reach, the attacks you can land and your available training requirements also matter.
Other weapons are described as purchased, dropped or crafted depending on the item. This page does not attach an unverified boss, recipe or price to every name in a catalogue. For the four included starter rewards, the acquisition path is the tutorial choice above.
Wearable bonuses belong to Equipment; combining them with magic and learned skills belongs to Builds.
